Like many prominent figures in the cryptocurrency world, the famous billionaire Michael Novogratz could not stand the tweets of the “@Bitcoin” account on Twitter, which disparaged Bitcoin and made Bitcoin Cash propaganda.
The account in question yesterday. A tweet was shared on:
“Bitcoin Cash is the oldest cryptocurrency. Its whitepaper was published in 2008 and the genesis block was issued in January 2009.
Bitcoin Core (BTC) is an experimental currency that does not have a whitepaper and has only been operating under its current model for two years.”
Novogratz, who could not help responding to this tweet, used the following expressions:
“Bitcoin Core is BTC. It’s a store of value, digital gold. Market cap dwarfs Bitcoin Cash. By definition, if you want to be a currency for payments, you must have a stable value.. So why would I buy it?”
Enough already. Bitcoin core is BTC. It is a store of value. It is digital gold. It’s market cap dwarfs bitcoin cash. If you want to be a payments currency by definition you need to have stable value. So why own it. ??

Novogratz, who became one of the richest names in the cryptocurrency world earlier this year entered the cryptocurrency market in 2015 after a 26-year Wall Street career at Goldman Sachs and Fortress Investment Group. According to Bloomberg, Novogratz was able to raise $250 million to his new venture, cryptocurrency trading bank Galaxy Digital, even as cryptocurrencies fell from a record low in December 2017.
The brand controversy in the Bitcoin community exploded after the fork of the leading cryptocurrency in August last year and the emergence of Bitcoin Cash.. The Bitcoin Cash protocol aims to make transactions faster and therefore cheaper to facilitate the scalability of the cryptocurrency.. Bitcoin.com, the crypto wallet and media service run by the biggest Bitcoin Cash supporter Roger Ver, was on the agenda by members of the pro-BTC community for allegedly deliberately directing BTC buyers to buy BCH.. A campaign was launched for this, but it was shelved due to insufficient funding.
