Seattle-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex has started accepting new user registrations again. Due to the intensity experienced with this announcement of Bittrex, the recordings were temporarily suspended again.
In the statement made by the Exchange, “We apologize for the inconvenience.. Registrations temporarily paused due to huge demand from new users. We are working to make the necessary corrections and reopen registrations shortly.”
Registration was first paused in December due to capacity, and new users were placed on a waiting list for several months.. All customers will have to complete authentication procedures to complete their registration.
Bittrex also offers a revamped website with enhanced security features.
Bill Shihara, Bittrex’s CEO “After working diligently to improve our infrastructure and refresh our site, we are pleased to announce that we have opened new user registrations today.. It is our responsibility to provide our users with a reliable platform and top-notch customer service.”
Meanwhile, the company has expanded its team with former Amazon, US Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security employees.
