A Bitcoin ATM located in a convenience store in Texas, USA, was robbed using bear spray (a type of pepper spray).
As seen in the video recording, two thieves used bear spray to neutralize the shopkeeper and use the Bitcoin ATM.
The shopkeeper was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
The incident took place on March 22. One of the two people who came to the store first sprayed bear spray on the attendant, neutralized it and headed straight for the ATM. The other person handed the crowbar he was carrying to his friend. The thief who took the crowbar tried to open the Bitcoin ATM. The thieves had a hard time opening the ATM, but they managed to open it. The thieves, who took the cash boxes, left the scene in a gray van.
The police described the thieves as two black males aged 20-30.
