China’s Google Baidu Starts Using Blockchain

Chinese web search giant Baidu has started using Blockchain (BaaS) as its service platform.

The open platform based on technology developed by Baidu offers the most “user friendly” Blockchain service.

According to the company’s private website, “Baidu Trust” allows the execution and monitoring of transactions and provides digital currency, digital invoicing, bank credit management, insurance management financial Baidu claims that the technology has already been applied in active securitization and the stock market, contributing to “the first asset-backed stock exchange products in China using blockchain technology.”

With this move by Baidu, the Chinese internet conglomerate Tencent is launching its own series of Blockchain services.

According to a statement made in April 2017, the company has “TrustSQL”, in authentication and the common economy, among digital asset management and other services.

Baidu has embraced Bitcoin early, although perhaps a little behind in launching its BaaS platform. In October 2013, he announced that he agreed to pay in Bitcoin for his Jiasule service, which improves the performance, speed and security of websites.
