Questions for Buffett
Buffett’s words received a reaction from some circles.. Nigel Green, founder and CEO of financial consulting firm DeVere Group, said he was stunned by the famous billionaire’s cynicism and said: actually not much of a surprise. However, what I find very surprising is that one of the world’s most successful investors has failed to see the true value of cryptocurrencies.. How can they believe that there is no place and value for digital, global currencies in an increasingly digitalized and globalized world? Don’t they see the world’s leading tech companies, banking groups and household investors starting to adopt or use cryptocurrencies? Don’t they see governments and central banks recognizing the need for regulatory frameworks because cryptocurrencies have become so ubiquitous?”
